Below are Waterpreneurs' key milestones since 2015 and until 2021 !

2015

• Waterpreneurs incubated at WaterLex, through its Business and Human Rights programme.

2016

• Development of the business plan and governance model.

• Establishing strategic partnerships with investors, water entrepreneurs and corporate supply chains.

• Field visits and water entrepreneurs evaluations

• Official launch during the World Water Week in Stockholm (28 of August 2016)

• Incorporation in Switzerland and in France (Q4 2016)

2017

• B-corp certification (Q2 2017)

• Pilot testing in Africa, Asia, South America

• Watervent – Matching event, in partnership with WIPO (June 2017)

• Launch of the foundation under Swiss law, holding 100% of Waterpreneurs (Q4 2017)

2018-2021

• Scaling-up of activities through global partnerships.
