Innovate 4 Water
Events (“marketplaces”) designed to foster interactions between global and local players from the private sector, the public sector and the civil society to shift financing towards innovative and impactful local solutions.
The aim is to address critical challenges in the water nexus, sanitation, energy, food health, circular economy, off-grid and smart technologies, climate change mitigation and adaptation as well as innovative finance, to name a few.
Specific event methodology has been developed to maximize cross-sectoral networking, with strong focus on stakeholders’ engagement in the design of the agenda and in the expected outcomes. In order to deliver an impactful pitch, presenters undergo presentation skills’ training and receive pitch deck guidance.
Ad-hoc event formats, such as a workshop format, benefiting from Waterpreneurs networks, thematic expertise around water, entrepreneurship and finance, as well as methodologies.
Give guidance on key management issues for a coalition of service providers operating in the water nexus: - Analysis of the current situation and expectations of different partners (governance, interactions with clients, rules of engagement, business case) - Organisation of brainstorming workshops. - Analysis of options and recommendations - Facilitation of the signature of an MoU between the members of the coalition.
1/ Training on the issues and opportunities related to the private sector involvement in water and sanitation delivery.
2/ Training about the business and human rights to water and sanitation approach.
Design improved frameworks of key indicators (KPIs) to enhance the performance and drive the evolution of an organisation to its next level of maturity and impact.

Objective for Waterpreneurs: to help solutions be eligible for the 1000 Efficient Solutions Portfolio and at the same time identify and qualify merchants that can present their solutions during the “Innovate 4 Water” marketplaces planned around the world.
