Waterpreneurs aims to help solve the problems raised by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a focus on the water nexus, human rights, security and peace.


Waterpreneurs fosters interactions between global and local players from the private sector, the public sector and the civil society to shift financing towards innovative impactful local solutions.


Based on shared value creation, collaborative economy and entrepreneurship, Waterpreneurs approach is systemic and creates local peer-to-peer interactions for global impact. This is achieved via multi-stakeholder approaches leading to the development of solution providers who deliver basic services to the most vulnerable populations.

Waterpreneurs operates with a hybrid governance based in Switzerland as:

  • A Limited Liability Company (LLC) offering consulting services

  • A not-for-profit Association essentially organizing “Innovate 4 Water” marketplace forum.

All profits generated by the LLC are reinvested in social purpose projects through the association.
